I love so many aspects of my job but I think what I love the most is meeting and getting to know all the great families that I do each week. The Albers family is just the sweetest. Miss Abigail is turning one so they wanted to get a few of her by herself and then get some updated family pictures. Abigail was so smiley, it was contagious and her big brothers sure do love her.
I know the Parthemer family through my husband who works with Garret! I was really looking forward to their session and it was looking like we would have some beautiful light, and then…the wind picked up. To say it was windy during their session would be an understatement! At a few points, I just had to laugh because it was so ridiculously windy. It seemed like it would be fine, we would all get in position, the kids were being perfect and then BAM, here comes the wind! Luckily, they are such and easygoing family and we just went with it. One of my favorite images of the entire session is one in which Megan has her daughter Autumn and the wind is blowing their hair around! Autumn was cracking me up because instead of the usual bribes of candy and ice cream, her mom and dad bribed her with lipstick. She loves her some makeup! Such a fun family!
Oh, Londyn. I don’t think she could be any more beautiful! She did so well during her newborn session as did her big brother Lawson. I was able to use my new swing that my husband made too, (images with the swing are composites, baby was safe on a bean bag the entire time) which was perfect! Enjoy your sweet girl, Doll family.
