My name is Lindsey and I am the photographer behind Vintage Grain Photography. I have been shooting full time for ten years. My other titles include wife to my amazing husband, Erik, and mother of four kiddos that keep me plenty busy with their activities. I also fully admit my addiction to Dunkin’ iced coffee (it’s not even coffee the way I order it) and my background tv show of choice to edit to is *insert whatever trashy reality show is on at the time*.
My favorite part of my job is capturing genuine love and happiness; parents holding their new baby, a newly engaged couple or grandparents surrounded by their grandchildren. I know that I have some amazing shots when I leave a session feeling like I MUST START EDITING IMMEDIATELY.
I’m a sucker for outdoor sessions during the “golden hour” (the first hour of light in the morning or last hour of light in the evening) but I also find indoor sessions and other lighting conditions fun and challenging. I’m always looking for new locations to shoot and when I find a potential location, my poor children usually have an impromptu photo session to test it out.
Enough about me. Let’s talk about you!
I want you to leave our session excited to see the images that were captured and confident we got the shots you were hoping for. I want your children to talk about all the fun they had because it felt more like playing than a photo session. I want your husband to say “Hey, that wasn’t so bad!” because we all know he was dreading it all day. And above all, I want you to get images that perfectly capture this time in your life that you can look back on and smile!
